Our studio is a french-german collaboration. We do conceptual design in the broad field of culture. Aim of our work is to create awareness and to share knowledge. The working process is characterised by direct communication, clear structures and transparent procedures. A close cooperation and collaboration with all participants are the basis of our commitment to project partners.

Bureau Est operates internationally and is run by Lisa Petersen, Sebastian A. Schmitt, Marie Schuster & David Voss in Leipzig & Ondine Pannet in Paris.

Unfortunately we don’t take any interns at the moment. Besides working in our studio, we love to give lectures and workshops. Let us know if there is an opportunity to come to your university. David also teaches regulary at Hochschule Mainz as Professor for Editorial Design and Typography.
